The department has accomplished faculty members. Someone has patent, someone is fellow of Nobel laureate and done their post-doctoral study in foreign. Some faculty members are actively associated with research projects in India & abroad. All the faculty members are students friendly.
Students of the department were motivated to take part in various activities like sport, seminar, webinar, magazine, social work and cultural activities etc.
Along with the college library the department also has a separate departmental library for the benefit of the students. There are 146 books in our departmental library of which 37 inorganic chemistry books, 51 organic chemistry books, 44 physical chemistry books and 14 inter disciplinary books apart from college library.
The Laboratories are well-equipped to run practical classes.
